The unit is quite inexpensively made and doesn’t function as intended. The six led bulbs aren’t the brightest but more than serve the purpose. When the fridge door opens, it senses the movement (most likely senses the change in light more), and activates. It worked completely right out of the box as soon as batteries were installed (four C-size). Fantastic day/night switch, adjustable, and has about a 20 foot range for the movement sensor. Cannot wait. I live on a horse farm in the United States and when it gets dark it gets dark. Color spectrum is reduced due to the bluish white glow, so it can be a tiny bit tough to distinguish colours – but not bad. Fantastic item!

I kept the second one out of the home for a back up for a light if we have a hurricane and also have no lights. Fantastic item! But next the motion sensor stopped detecting any movement and refused to light up. I’m only writing in case somebody has an answer that I have not found. I looked around to determine how many lumens it was, but could not find it anyplace on the driveway lighting package. They’re placed along a road to your shed and on your shed – must have bought them before now.

I installed two lights in the bigger closets and one light in the smaller sized pantry. The driveway lighting fixture has three configurations, on (always), off, auto (detects motion and turns on). I purchased two more. I possibly could not affix to my home so I positioned it on the porch close to the door. I installed it into our back door region and it works as advertized, but it is a white light that does not cover much area, although it it blinding if you look at it. It looks and feels inexpensive, however the price was right.

I purchased two and will buy a couple more. Since I frequently travel down and up my stairs where I mounted the lights, it’s foolish, wasteful of energy, and irritating to have these lights popping on the whole day in broad daylight. With the lamp pointing in any helpful direction the swivel bracket will cover battery hatch, hiding it from view and adding an additional level of defense against the elements. It has great motion sensitivity, and also the photocell control is effective. The light is normal LED-bright.
